What's it all about?

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer

Good tidings we bring to you and your kin
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year

We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here

Good tidings we bring to you and your kin
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year

... A stanza that is often overlooked

So... Happy Christmas.

Have you had figgy pudding? It doesn't really sound great, does it? It isn't like chocolate cake or anything.

I've never had it - but I'd love to try it... Chocolate cake, I'm sure it's not. And chocolate cake is gooooood.

This was a bit more towards the figurative, if you'll pardon the pun.
